Toyota's Global Production Soared Sharply By 83%

Tokyo - A Japanese car manufacturer announced that total global production rose sharply during February 2010. Toyota's global production soared sharply by 83% compared to the same month last year.

Toyota's success selling 655,180 units during February 2010. Toyota Motor Corp. is still struggling to restore its image after the storm hit the giant recall of the automotive world recently. The increase in the number of Toyota's production in February is good enough despite the temporary closure of factories for five days in early February. Toyota recently announced a temporary production stop in Europe in April and May.

The main rivals Toyota, Honda also recorded an increase in production, which rose 49.3% from a year earlier to 284,711 units. Nissan Production also rose 72.4% to 270,366 units.
